Mal-Aimée Launch

“Simultaneously poetic, romantic, sporty and urban, the brand’s universe oscillates between extreme femininity and androgyny in order to create a new type of elegance.” –TOTEM

Léonie and Marius are the super young/super talented designers behind Mal-Aimée. They met at the Geneva University of art and design in Switzerland and have been working together since they started at Nina Ricci with Olivier Theyskens.  They presented their  womenswear collection, Mal-Aimée, last week during PFW. Their collection is influenced by their experience in the “the Paris fashion scene” and is all about “experimentations in volumes and lines” with “serious attention to the choice of colors and fabrics.”

This past Friday, October 8th, I was able to attend their launch party at the Curio Parlor in the 5th arrondissement! Their collection is AMAZEBALLSSSS!!
